Terms of use.
These terms explain what Competition Companion provides, what remains your responsibility and how we keep the service safe.
Effective 13 August 2026
1. The service
Competition Companion helps you discover, organise and review competitions. It provides direct promoter links, private status tracking, reminders and optional assistance. It does not run the competitions, choose winners or guarantee that a listing, answer, prize or closing date is correct.
2. Your entries
You review and submit every entry directly with the promoter. The promoter's rules, eligibility requirements, privacy notice and closing date apply. You are responsible for checking them before entering and for providing accurate information.
3. Your account
Provide a working email address, keep sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe the account has been compromised. Do not share an account or attempt to view another member's information. You can revoke sessions, enable MFA or passkeys, export your information and delete the account.
4. Fair and permitted use
Do not use the service to break promoter rules, bypass CAPTCHA or access controls, submit entries automatically, scrape the service aggressively, interfere with security, upload harmful material or attempt to discover private sources, credentials or another member's data.
5. Optional assistance
The browser helper and factual-answer assistance are review tools. They do not fill dates of birth, consent, CAPTCHA, passwords, payment details or submit controls. AI features run only after an explicit request and may be unavailable while provider access is paused. Always check an assisted answer yourself.
6. Submitted competitions and reports
Verified members may suggest a public promoter URL or report an issue. Submissions can be rejected, merged with an existing competition, corrected or removed. Do not include personal information in a submission or issue report.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the catalogue and website available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Features or listings may be changed, paused or removed for security, legal, cost or quality reasons. Material changes to these terms will be dated and communicated appropriately.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Competition Companion is not responsible for a promoter's actions, an unavailable third-party site, an inaccurate competition listing or a lost opportunity to enter.
9. Ending access
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict an account that threatens security, another member's privacy, source access or the lawful operation of the service. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and available next step.
